ikebana freesias arrangement

This is a beautiful and fresh floral arrangement in ikebana style.
Freesias are sympathy flowers, fragile, perfumed, elegant and pure, especially white freesias. We chose to use freesias for what we’ve just said and for their shape and simplicity of stem, without many leaves.

To create this ikebana arrangement, you’ll need 5 freesias, 2 green santinis, floral foam, white pebbles and a glass.

Put the floral foam in the glass and water it. Then stick the freesias after you’ve broken the leaves and lateral stems and cut their stems in a sharp angle under water, following the ikebana diagram. Arrange 3 freesias so that obtain the heaven-man-earth triangle and the 2 full-blown freesias on the base. Fill the floral image with freesia buds and flowing leaves, using green santinis to create the impression of greenery. This is like bringing the nature in your house. Finally, add the pebbles, covering the floral foam.
