Domestic uses of Lavender

Lavender is a real treasure in the kitchen too. Besides its medicinal benefits, Lavender is used as a spice. Lavender spice is a loosing weight natural remedy, by reducing the appetite, because the lavender helps the digestive system. Mix the lavender with thyme in a 1/5 proportion and you’ll obtain a special spice for the most delicious and most refined meals.
Get rid of moths with dried lavender flowers. Put the dried lavender flowers in a textile pouch and introduce it in the wardrobe between the clothes. So that the lavender flowers do emit more volatile oil, rub the lavender pouch between your hands even daily.
The volatile oil from lavender also sends away the ants, fleas and beetles. Make a solution from 6 spoons of water and 10 drops of lavender volatile oil and sprinkle with over the places overridden by those bad insects.
Besides the calming effects of lavender oil, there is also an ousting property of it. The Lavender volatile oil ousts the reek from your house. Mix in a pot one mug of water, 10 drops of Lavender volatile oil and 10 drops of mint volatile oil. Clean with the acquired solution the bad smelling surfaces (no varnished surfaces).
