Before making the bridal bouquet, the florist has to know (if you are the florist of your own wedding, you will fallow those steps in choosing the best fitting bouquet):

• The height, size and the entire image of the bride or bridegroom to be. To a tall and thin bride we recommend a big round wedding bouquet, made by noble form flowers, like the strelitias, flamingo flowers, anthuriums, lilys. The bouquet is good to be made by one single type of flower. A low bride has to be completed by a folowing bouquet (longer than broader one) which will make her looking taller or by a small round bouquet.
• The hair color and the headdress of the bride. To a blond hair bride suits a warm color bouquet, a combination of ochre and a little orange (orange punk mini roses between the full-blown roses). A brown hair bride has to wear a white bouquet as a contrast.
• The age. Here comes the restrictions when we talk about an aged bride. Aside from them, a bridal bouquet can be made with every flowers that the bride loves and any combination.
• The material, color and the tailoring of the wedding dress. If the wedding dress is white, you can use any chromatic style for the bouquet. It could be a white, red, green one or a color combination. To a delicate material wedding dress, you need to assort the fragile flowers, like cala lily, orchid, tulip.
• If it’s a religious or civil ceremony and how it last. The most lasting flowers are the roses (that are most used in the weeding arrangements and bridal bouquet), than come lisianthus, carnation, anthurium, santini (a species of chrysanthemum), matricaria.
• The favorite flowers and colors of the bride. The bride has to be proud of her and to feel good in her shoes, that for you have to incorporate the bride’s favorite flowers, if any, into the bouquet as well.
• The financial possibilities of the partners. Consider the wedding a unique moment of your life, so our advice is to spend some money. Thus the florist can make something special for you.
The season and what flowers can be used for that period of the year. Those are the most appropriate flowers for a bridal bouquet: rose, mini rose, cala, lily, freesia, lisianthus, carnation, santini, orchid, imperial orchid, tulip, iris, chrysanthemum, anthurium, amaryllis, gypsophila, hypericum, sunflower and others. As potherb and decoration you can use the fern, gypsophila, asparagus, aspidistra, palm, hypericum, hedera helix and other leafs. You can also complete the bouquet, in a modern way, with sliced fruits (orange, lemon, lime), dry fruits and other natural accessories.
